Old Gold Cigarettes
Aim for the Best! The other option they almost went with was “Hey, Kids! Robin Hood smoked, so you should too! Look at this pretty lady! She’s smoking! That’s why she’s pretty!” But they decided that one was too long.
“Well—here’s looking at you!”
This has possibly been in my drafts since last August. I’m nothing if not prompt.
The Virgin and the Barfly. “There’s only one way for a gorgeous gal without money to pay a debt!”
That’s not literally true, but it would make the world a better place if it were. (And does anyone else think that that is a remarkably short barfly?)
Beware the Pale Horse.
Not to get too personal, but for a while a certain part of your Drunkcle’s anatomy was nicknamed “the pale horse.”
